Institute for Applied Circumpolar Policy

The Institute for Applied Circumpolar Policy (IACP) is a collaboration between the Dartmouth College, the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and the University of the Arctic.  IACP is located at the Dickey Center or International Understanding at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.

Initially, IACP has two objectives:

  • to raise public and private understanding of the policy implications resulting from circumpolar climate change and its human dimensions
  • to offer training and education to increase northern capacity to respond to the human dimensions of climate change
